Pangandaran addition, there are several other attractions that is no less beautiful. One is Cukang Taneuh or known as the Green Canyon.

This tourist attraction located in the Village Kertayasa, Cijulang District, and located along the river Cijulang - about 31 km from Pangandaran.
The nickname Cukang  Taneuh  arose because in the middle of the river there is a bridge of land as wide as 3 meters with 40 meters long. The bridge connects the two villages also became famous attractions, namely the Village  Batukaras Kertayasa. Batukaras Beach  known as surfing area.
Green Canyon became very popular, because the river is very beautiful. Those that visit there would have been transfixed by the beauty of the river which flows along the Cijulang. The beauty that will always greet tourists so go into the gate attractions.

The river is so special, because it lengthwise and sliced a canyon area of the physical structure is very admirable. Those who had visited the Green Canyon in Colorado, United States, will surely agree that the canyon in Cijulang was very similar to Green Canyon.

Any one have never visited, would be challenged to be there. Because, be invited to enjoy the beauty of the canyon with  boating. While enjoying a boat trip can be climbed from Pier Ciseuruh, travelers will be treated to incredible natural scenery along the left and right sides of rivers. Various animals, like monkeys, always ready to welcome tourists with shouts.

To get to the first point, we must pass through a relatively calm river for nearly 15 minutes. After passing through the 'tunnel' of the river, we will then meet with a place that forces us to get off the boat. In these places, we will encounter a row of a rock which is very beautiful with stalactite and stalagmite decorations charming. Coral reefs also are forcing us to not continue the journey by boat, because the river channel was blocked by him until the river seems like a staircase rise.

Tourists at this point was challenged to dare to swim as far up the river . Those who did it and made it through the hurdles slow-moving river with a depth of about 10 meters, then we will be treated to views of waterfalls Palatar very charming.

There are many ways to reach the Green Canyon. The first objective that must be passed by tourists is preserved. So, try before you get to the area. It's up to you to use private or public vehicles, both good choices.

For those who use public transport, the time until Pangandaran, which must be done is to find a vehicle canal. The choice, either renting or riding public transportation buses. It cost just Rp 6000 just to get to the Green Canyon.

But, if you still want to use a leased vehicle, it is also not a bad choice. Lots of motorcycle or a car rental place in Pangandaran or Batukaras Beach. However, because the vehicles are usually rented for a full day, then the rental price becomes quite expensive.

The route should you take to achieve the Green Canyon is also very easy. From Jakarta or Bandung, you can follow the route to Central Java. Once you arrive at the fork in the road Banjar-Ciamis, should turn to the right direction and do not take straight. For those who use public transport, would not have to think about the route. Because the driver will take you to Pangandaran. That must be considered is the place to stay there. You can choose to stay at hotels that are available lots in Pangandaran. Or, it could also stay at the Beach Batukaras very close to the Green Canyon. The price also varies from hotel to the starry jasmine classes there.

Climbing the Seven Summits of the World From Everest to Carstensz Pyramind - Heights, Costs & More!

The Seven Summits of the World are known as highest peaks found on each continent on Earth. The concept was first suggested by Richard Bass in the 1980's and it has been every mountaineer's goal to climb each one during their lifetime. Bass was the first to climb all the summits and once held the record for having been the oldest person to climb Everest.

The Seven Summits of the World

As for the seven summits, no doubt, you may have heard of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania and Mount Everest in Nepal. Read about the rest - how tall they are, which are the most challenging and why, how much it will cost you to make the climb to the highest peaks in the world. . .

1) Mount Everest / Qomolangma

Mountain Range: Himalayan Mountains

Location: Nepal, China, Asia

Height: 8,850 meters or 29,028 feet

Cost: $30,000+

Located on the border between Nepal and Tibet, Everest is the world's highest mountain and most notorious.

It is also one of Nepal's most significant sources of tourist revenue. Almost 2,500 reached Everest's summit by the end of 2007, each bringing in around $25,000 each. Sherpas are an ethnic Nepalese group who reside in the mountains and are employed as guides and porters for climbers. Two of the most famous climbers in the world are Edmund Hillary (a New Zealander) and Tenzing Norgay (a Sherpa), the first men to reach the summit of Everest in 1953

2) Aconcagua

Mountain Range: Andes Mountains

Location: Argentina, South America

Height: 6,962 meters or 22,320 feet

Cost: $4,500+

The highest mountain in the world outside Asia, Aconcagua is located in the Mendoza province of Argentina, famous for its Malbec wine. Aconcagua is said to be an easier mountain to climb, technically speaking. Altitude sickness is one of the biggest barriers and no oxygen masks are required. The youngest person to have ever climbed Aconcagua was Jodan Romero of Big Bear Lake, California at 11 years old in December 2007.

3) Denali / Mount McKinley

Mountain Range: Alaska Range

Location: Alaska, USA, North America

Height: 6,194 meters or 20,320 feet

Cost: $5,000+

Denali is the Native American word for "The High One." It was once named Mount McKinley after U.S. President William McKinley but named back in 1980. Mount Denali is known for its cold climates, containing 5 large glaciers. One thermometer that was left on the mountain for over 19 years recorded that it had once reached -73.3C (-100F). Severe altitude sickness is also prevalent on Denali because its latitude is much higher. A mountain like Denali at the equater would have approximately 47% more oxygen on its summit, compared to sea level.

4) Mount Kilimanjaro

Location: Kilimanjaro, Tanzania, Africa

Height: 5,895 meters or 19,640 feet

Cost: $4,000+

Kilimanjaro is made up of three cones of an inactive volcano and is the highest peak in Africa. Kibo is the highest cone where Uhuru Peak stands over Tanzania. It usually takes 4-5 days to climb Kilimanjaro and huts are located at each day's stop. This is thought to be one of the "easier" mountains to climb and is possible for those who have limited mountaineering experience. Avoiding altitude sickness by acclimatization is one of the hardest parts.

5) Mount Elbrus

Mountain Range: Western Caucasus Mountains

It wasn't until 1966 and 1967 that the first ascent was made to its peak. The most difficult part about the Vinson Massif is its inaccessibility, but there are now a few operators who offer tours to this no man's land.

7) Puncak Jaya (Carstensz Pyramid)

Mountain Range: Sudirman Range

Location: Irian Jaya, Indonesia, Oceania

Height: 4,884 meters

Cost: $18,000

Once covered with glaciers, it was reported that in the 1970's, Puncak Jaya's glaciers had begun to melt and today, it stands as a significantly less mountain than it once was.

Summer Holiday in the Outdoors - Camping

There are many reasons why families decide to go camping with their kids: it is fun for the whole family, the kids get to play in the nature and you can have some peace and quiet away for the noisy city. But what are the things that we should never forget to take with us when going camping?

If this is the first time you go camping then you should make sure that this king of trip is what you actually want. Investing in expensive things is an option only if you are convinced that you want to go. Going alone with your family is not recommended, especially if you haven't done this before. So why don't you ask some of your friends to join you. This way you will not be alone in the middle of the forest and also you can share some of the stuff that you will have to bring with you.

First of all you have to buy a tent. Choosing the right size depends on how many people sleep in it. If you don't want to let your kids sleep alone then you should get a big tent so you all have enough room. In order not to get all the dirt in the tent you should bring a welcome mat. You can actually use the mats for your car so you don't have to invest in something like this.

Something else that you should not forget are the flashlights. You should have at least one big flashlight and several for each member of the family. Also, don't forget about the spare batteries. You should be prepared for everything. But i think your kid's doesn't recomended to bring his Leappad-Tablet. Some of the other things that you can use together with your friends are: the table, a hammer, duct tape, trash bags and so on.

This can be a great way to rediscover the beauty of the nature, to catch up with your friends and to spend quality time with your family.

You can then continue to Amed, which is located on the eastern coastline. It's composed of a lot of fishing villages, such as Gili Selang and Lipah. The island is valued for the privacy it gives to visitors.

Another interesting place to visit is the Maumere in Flores Island. It's already a very popular tourist destination, so there are now plenty of tours that you can choose from. You can also charter a yacht from Bali and then sail through the Maumere. You can also go to the area by flying from Central Flores Island. You can try shopping at their local market, dine in Wuring (a small fishing village), or experience traditional Indonesian culture at Sikka. Of course, your stay will not be complete without diving or swimming, especially in Pemana.

Sailing in Indonesia may also mean exploring Irian Jaya. This is the largest Indonesian province, with a span of more than 450,000 square kilometers. Besides the beach, you can make a stop and follow several hiking trails leading to Puncak Jayawijaya, a very large mountain range that is 5,500 meters above sea level. You can also camp at other mountains such as Gunung Yamin and Gunung Trikora. There are also plenty of lakes where you can go fishing or canoeing, the largest of which is Panai.

Most people go to Indonesia for food, clothing, and a sense of culture. They may have forgotten that it's also blessed with an impressive ecosystem, made up of seas, lakes, mountains, and animal creatures. Sailing in Indonesia will allow you to take a glimpse of its natural resources.
